Evaluations

We offer comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations for children, adolescents and adults.

Child and Adolescent Evaluations: Through the evaluation process, parents will gain an understanding of their child’s cognitive, academic, social and emotional strengths, and areas of weakness. The report will include individualized recommendations for the child’s home and school environments.

The evaluations are designed to identify: specific learning disabilities (including dyslexia), attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder, executive function deficits, autism spectrum disorders, anxiety, depression and cognitive impairments.

The evaluation process includes:

  • A parent intake meeting

  • A review of records

  • Communication with teachers

  • Two to three testing sessions

  • A parent feedback meeting

Adult Evaluations: We offer comprehensive psychological evaluations for adults who are having difficulty reaching their full potential in higher education or the workplace, as well as adults who suspect that they may have a learning disability or attention disorder.

Through the evaluation process, individuals will gain a better understanding of their cognitive strengths and weaknesses and learning profile. The evaluation will also provide information about social-emotional skills, attention, and executive functioning.

The final report will include a comprehensive list of recommendations, which can be used to request testing or workplace accommodations.
