About Nicole Gali Strope, Psy. D.
I have found that providing a warm and nurturing environment has helped my clients explore areas of their lives that they were previously unwilling to look at. The therapeutic relationship that develops between us, can lead to both introspection and healing. I am a licensed psychologist specializing predominantly in the well being of women across a range of issues including eating disorders, relationship struggles, infertility, anxiety, and post-partum depression. I am also interested in helping people through life transitions, such as entering a new relationship or becoming single again, beginning college, entering the "real world", and becoming a mother.
We will explore what contributes to your struggles and how you can make changes that will help you achieve your goals. My intent is to empower clients to pursue what they desire personally and professionally and find peace and joy within themselves and in life.
I received my doctorate from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology and completed post-doctoral training through The Psychoanalytic Institute at NYU School of Medicine. While psychodynamic theory informs my thinking, I work through different modalities, depending on the individual and circumstances. I am currently licensed in New Jersey.
